James Earl Jones, who Voicing to Star Wars character Darth Vader for nearly 40 years, seems to be officially retiring.
According to a report, Jones has signed on documents to recreate his voice through AI.
According to the report, young John's voice will be recreate through AI technology ( artificial intelligence synthetic speech technology ).
So that in upcoming projects, His ai voice can be used for Star Wars character Darth Vader.
Lucasfilm veteran Matthew Wood explained that he said we were looking to eliminate this particular character, so how do we proceed now.
Then Lucasfilm enlisted the help of Ukrainian startup Respeecher, which creates new conversations using AI through old voice recordings.
Lucasfilm and Respeecher first worked together for the Disney Plus web series The Book of Boba Fett, in which they recreate the voice for young Luke Skywalker via AI.
After this they also worked together in the web series Obi-Wan Kenobi, in which they recreate the voice of Darth Vader.
Lucasfilm hired 19-year-old voice artist Bogdan Belyaev to create these new AI-generated voices.

After the launch of Obi-Wan Kenobi web series, Jones told Matthew Wood that he was very pleased with this synthesized results which they achieved with the help of his old voice recordings and Respeecher's AI technology.
